BENEFITS OF A SUPPORT GROUP You can be strengthened by knowing others have walked in your shoes and not only survived but grew and developed personally. Joining in the social life of a support group can help you feel less isolated. Parenting is a challenge at any age, actions as small as setting time aside to get emotional support from others can yield positive results.
